Diana Nascimento

DS Nascimento is a Project leader at i3S/INEB and Adjunct Professor at ICBAS. She is interested in developing efficient therapies for cardiovascular disorders by promoting cardiac regeneration and/or inhibiting the formation of fibrosis in patients with myocardial infarction. She has strong expertise in vivo and in vitro models of cardiac disease and her projects are at the interface between cardiovascular biology and bioengineering.
