Nuno Rodrigues dos Santos is an independent researcher at i3S investigating mechanisms underlying leukemia development that can lead to novel therapeutic approaches. Our main interests are the identification and characterization of mechanisms involved in the molecular crosstalk between microenvironmental and leukemic cell, focusing on the role of cell surface proteins (e.g. lymphotoxin and chemokine receptors) and of signaling pathway activation in leukemogenesis.
