Cristina Barrias

C Barrias is Assistant Investigator at INEB/i3S and Invited Assistant Professor at ICBAS. She is interested in understanding how cells behave in 3D and are dynamically instructed by their microenvironment, to translate that knowledge into more effective therapies. She has a strong background on the molecular design of ECM-like hydrogels for 3D cell culture and tissue regeneration, and is now adapting 3D cell-based assays to high-throughput screening platforms
